Johnson’s 40-watt Navigator was designed as a CW transmitter/exciter for the 160–10 meter bands. It featured timed sequence keying to eliminate clicks and chirps without giving up the break-in advantages of a keyed VFO. The Navigator used a 6146 PA.
Kit or wired.
