QST, Apr 1956, p. 7. Allied Radio catalog 1957 (copyright 1956), p. 240. Walter Ashe catalog 1957, inside front cover. These are single band receivers for two meters (S-102) and six meters (S-106). They provide AM reception only. Similar in design and appearance to the "Civic Patrol" receivers S-81, 82, 94, and 95. The important difference is that the Civic Patrol receivers are FM. Controls include ON-OFF-VOLUME, TUNING, ANL ON-OFF, and RECEIVE-STANDBY. There is no squelch control. Rear panel connections include antenna input, standby terminals, and a headphone jack. Built-in speaker. Caution: Transformerless circuit.
