These are single band receivers for two meters (S-102) and six meters (S-106). They provide AM reception only. Similar in design and appearance to the "Civic Patrol" receivers S-81, 82, 94, and 95. The important difference is that the Civic Patrol receivers are FM.
Controls include ON-OFF-VOLUME, TUNING, ANL ON-OFF, and RECEIVE-STANDBY. There is no squelch control.
Rear panel connections include antenna input, standby terminals, and a headphone jack.
Built-in speaker.
