Single conversion superheterodyne circuit. Features include BFO, AVC, switchable ANL, sensitivity, mute, calibrated bandspread, built-in speaker, tone control. Main tuning is the circular dial at left. The slide rule dial is the bandspread.
The S-109 is identical but is an AC-DC version.
