In the March and April 1932 issues if Radio Craft, Silver refers to this receiver as the 727, and makes reference to a receiver called the 727SW as having been released "last June" that is, June 1931. But two month later, in the June 1932 issue of Radio News, Silver refers back to his March/April Radio Craft article and called the radio he described then as the 727SW. In this same article, he writes about a new receiver he calls the 727.
Confused? So am I.
The essential distinction is that the 727SW is an "all wave" receiver, while the 727 is not.
