The double-conversion HQ-160 had IFs at 3035 and 455 kHz. It tuned from 0.54–31 MHz in six bands. There were 14 IF tuned circuits, a Q-Multiplier, and notch filter for selectivity. The band-spread dial had calibration for the 80 through 10 meter bands.
