The "Swan Twins."
Swan’s 600-R was the matching receiver for the 600-T transmitter. The receiver shown is the 600-R Custom, indicating that it has the optional IF noise blanker and IC audio filter installed.
The Custom Special also include the optional SS-16B crystal filter.
The 600R is a hybrid design using 7 tubes, 8 transistors, and 12 diodes. The 600-R and 600-T could be cabled together for transceiver operation, using either VFO.
The 600RC is advertised as a "custom receiver." QST, Jan 1973, p. 109.
