General Notes

Note

The 55G-1 was a low-frequency tuner accessory for the Collins 51S-1 receiver. It covered 200 kHz to 2 MHz in two bands. It improved input sensitivity and selectivity in the low-frequency range as well as reducing cross-modulation from strong broadcast-band signals. It contained a 5” × 7” speaker. The 55G-1 used one FET and required external power.
