The VFO-621 was designed to work with Ameco’s TX-62 transmitter or other rigs compatible with its 24–26 MHz output. In addition to 6 and 2 meters, its dial was calibrated for the 1-1/4 meter band. The heterodyne-type VFO was transistorized.
