Specifications & Features
– Frequency Range: Flat through 40 MHz, usable with a ±10% error up to 200 MHz.
– Power Scales: Scaled for 10, 100, 300, and 1000 watts at 52 ohms.
– Power Handling: Non-inductive Carborundum dry load rated at 350 watts in dry air, capable of taking up to 2 kW on an Intermittent Commercial and Amateur Service (ICAS) basis. Uses a solid dielectric heat sink rather than liquid.
– Protection Systems: Meter movement features Zener diode protection against high-power overloads on lower ranges, alongside a thermostatically controlled warning light set to trigger at an internal temperature of 175°F.
– Modulation Readout: Provides direct percentage of modulation readings on the 10-watt scale for low-power transmitters.
Essentially a knock-off of the Waters 334.
