The 5100-B changed a little cosmetically and only slightly electrically from the earlier 5100 model. Power increased to 180 watts, and 140 watts AM phone and CW. The transmitter worked on sideband using the 51SB-B adapter. Unlike the 5100, the B model cabinet already had holes drilled for use with the sideband generator; $475.00.
