Note
QST, Apr 1946, p. 105.
Concord catalog 4-46 (1946), p. 106.
The entry level S-41 was made for only about a year and was released just a couple of months before the S-38 series. It was available in a gray cabinet (S-41G), or in white (S-41W).
The unit was electrically and mechanically identical to the Echophone EC-1B. Only the cabinet and dial colors are different.
A couple of curious details: the mode switch is labeled BROADCAST and CODE, rather than AM and CW, and instead of ANL there is a switch labeled ANTI NOISE and NORMAL.
