QST, Dec 1963, p. 183. QST, May 1964, p 1. QST, Feb 1965, p. 1. With Hallicrafters’ acquisition of Radio Industries, Incorporated, R.I.’s Loudenboomer amplifier became the Hallicrafters HT-45. It used a 3-400Z for 2000 watts PEP SSB and 1000 watts CW input. The HT-45 styling matches the HT-44 exciter, and SX-117.
