Multi-Elmac’s AF-68 trans-citer was designed to do service in both home and mobile stations. The AM and CW rig ran 60 watts input on 80–6 meters. The 40 watts of audio from its push-pull 6L6s could be used to drive the modulator of a high-power transmitter. It had a pi-net output.
