The MM-1 provided continuous monitoring of CW, AM, and SSB signals. Automatic blanking protected the 3 inch scope tube from burn-in during stand-by periods. The MM-1 's response curve was flat from 1-55 MHz. lt had a built-in 1 kHz tone generator and displayed AF and RF trapezoid and envelope patterns.
The MM-2, added receiver monitoring. Plug-in modules adapted the MM-2 to various receiver intermediate frequencies.
Out of production by late 1962, but still available for a year or so from a few distributors. See for example the Amateur Electronic Supply ad in QST, Jun 1963, p. 152. "We bought the entire factory stock..."
