Dovetron’s RTTY terminal unit used separate detection of mark and space signals. As individual bit pulses were stretched and smeared, its Multipath Corrector automatically regenerated the proper zero crossings. The mark and space channels were tunable to precise tone frequencies. The model shown was sold mostly to government and commercial services. A less expensive model was marketed for amateur use.
