The 312B-1 was the primary standalone companion speaker designed specifically for the KWM-1.
It contains a 5 x 7 inch permanent magnet speaker housed in a matching grey cabinet that mirrors the exact height and depth of the transceiver.
Alternatively, Collins offered the 312B-2 Station Console for the KWM-1 setup. This larger unit housed the same 5 x 7 inch speaker but integrated an RF directional wattmeter and a built-in hybrid phone patch (using the 189A-1 components) right into the front panel.
