The Model CS-700 is a high-performance sampling interconnect designed to interface FM transceivers with the telephone network. It enables mobile and portable radio users to initiate and receive fully automatic telephone calls when within range of a base station.
Distinguished as a versatile solution for radio-to-telephone communication, the CS-700 is unique in offering users a choice between VOX Enhanced or VOX Controlled Sampling methods, both of which are microcomputer-controlled to ensure reliable audio handoffs and advanced telephone VOX reference.

– Autodialer & Redial: Built-in memory for autodialing stored numbers and a Last Number Redial function.
– Programmable CW ID: User-programmable station identification (up to 15 characters) sent at connect or disconnect.
– Call Progress Detection: Sophisticated software algorithms automatically detect dial tones and busy signals for automatic disconnection.
– Toll Restriction: Programmable security features including digit counting (10-digit limit) and up to four different prefix restrictions (e.g., 0, 1, 976, 411).
– User Interface: Includes a built-in programming keyboard and digital display for easy configuration.
– Safety & Security: Secret toll override codes and "Line In Use" detection to prevent mobile units from interrupting active calls.
– Auxiliary Relay (Optional): Supports remote functions, relay-switched PTT, or disabling tone squelch.
