Cosmos Industries called the Cosmophone 35 a "2-Channel Bilateral Transceiver" when it was introduced. It had two VFOs with individual dial scales. The Cosmophone 35 could transceive using either of the VFOs or operate as a separate transmitter and receiver using them both. It had a 3.1 kHz mechanical filter and transmitted and received SSB, AM (1 sideband + carrier), and CW. The Cosmphone 35 covered 80-10 meters and used a 6146 final.
The only difference between the Cosmophone 35 and Cosmophone 50 was the “50” silk-screened on the front panel of the latter.
