The Transcon 10 was made by Creative Electronics of Stamford, Connecticut. It combined a 10 meter AM/CW transmitter and receive converter, converting to the broadcast band. The transmitter ran 4 watts input when using power from the car radio, 12 watts with an external supply. The five-tube transmitter could be VFO- or crystal controlled. The two-tube converter fed into the car radio. The Transcon 10 was made in both 6 and 12 VDC types. A similar model for 6 meters was available.
