ICM’s two-tube FCV-1 crystal-controlled converter was made in models for 2 or 6 meters. It used a 6AK5 RF amp and 6J6 mixer-oscillator. Output IFs were 600–1500 kHz and 7–11 MHz.
The FCV-2 six meter converter is shown here. A 2 meter model was also made. They both used a 6BQ7A RF amp and 6U8A mixer-oscillator. IF outputs from the broadcast band through 30 MHz were available. The two standard outputs were 600–4600 kHz and 7–11 MHz.
