ETO’s Alpha 76 amplifier ran 2000 watts PEP and 1000 watts DC input with a pair of 8874 triodes in grounded-grid. The 76 covered the 160–10 meter ham bands and had manual tuning and loading controls. A variation of the amplifier had three tubes.
