The Dela-Bridge I, is designed to analyze antenna characteristics and simplify adjustments. When excited by a grid dip meter or low power transmitter, it quickly analyzes existing antenna and feedline characteristics, tuning and loading coils, and filter and interstage coupling networks.
A direct readout allows easy adjustment for optimum performance. Frequency range is 50 kHz to 250 MHz with a resistance range of zero to 500 ohms, balanced or unbalanced, logarithmic scale.
Excitation requirements are 1 mW to 2 watts maximum. An internal 9 volt battery powers the device, which has an accuracy of ±3% at 50 ohms.
The readout, which is not frequency sensitive, provides complete null and reactance determination and the internal IC amplifier allows use with low-signal inputs.
