QST, Mar 1961, p. 148.
DeWald was a division of United Scientific Laboratories in Long Island City, New York. The 6 meter Radio-Phone had a superhet receiver that tuned from 50–54 MHz. The crystal-controlled transmitter ran 7 watts plate modulated AM. It had an internal115 VAC power supply and came with a ceramic microphone and one crystal.
This is exactly the same device as the Allied Lincoln 6 meter transceiver (see separate entry). The connection between United Scientific and Allied has not yet been established.
