Note
QST, Apr 1968, p. 139.
The TR-44B communications station combined a T-4B transmitter, an R-4B receiver, and speaker in the same cabinet. It could operate as a tunable receiver/crystal-controlled transmitter, or as a full transceiver using the receiver PTO. The 120 watt output station was used by government and commercial services as well as amateur radio operators.
The R-4C and T-4XC were also available in this configuration as the TR-44C.
