The 2-B built on the strengths of Drake's 2-A model. It offered selectivity in 0.5, 2.1, and 3.6 kHz steps and had an improved passband tuner. It covered 80-10 meters in seven 600kHz ranges. Five others could be used anywhere between 3.5 and 30 MHz with optional crystals.
