It made greater use of sold-state devices than its predecessor. SSB PEP input increased to 550 watt. Requires the AC-400 AC power supply or the G-1000 DC power supply. Accessories include the RF-550 wattmeter, the SC-550 speaker, and the LA-550 kilowatt linear amplifier. And see QST, Aug 1972, p. 112 for an unspecified rotator system.
