The KR5 single-paddle electronic keyer had a fixed weighting ratio and a speed range of 6–50 wpm. A thumbscrew on the paddle adjusted its travel. The keyer operated from either 6 or 12 VDC and had reed-relay keying output.
The paddle mechanism was available separately (in the same box) as the KR2.
Sometimes referred to as the "Ultramatic."
