Eldico introduced the TR-75, a 6L6/807 CW transmitter kit late in 1949. Within months a company announced a "TVI'd" version that incorporated onboard filtering, improved the shielding, a pi-network output, all of which added $10 to the cost, though you could still buy the original version if TVI was not an issue for you.
Still later, the tube lineup changed from a 6L6 driving an 807, to a 6AG7 driving a 1625.
Compatible with Eldico's MD-40 modulator.
TR-75TV2 and TR-75V5 are improved versions. Details unknown as of this writing (2026).
