General Notes

Note

QST, Feb 1953, p. 103. Allied Radio catalog 1954 (copyright 1953), p. 48. Allied Radio catalog 1955 (copyright 1954), p. 191. Allied Radio catalog 1956 (copyright 1955), p. 199. Separate 6 and 12 volt versions. The 12 volt unit was not mentioned until QST, Mar 1954, p. 113. The PMR-6A 10-tube, double-conversion mobile receiver covered 80-10 meters as well as the standard broadcast band. It had a BFO and a noise limiter. A choice of external power supplies made it useful in the home station as well as on the road.
