Three prototype models were built, but the SX-112 general-coverage receiver never went into production. The 14-tube set covered 540 kHz –34 MHz. Even though it had six bands, the SX-112’s slide-rule dial had separate calibrated scales for general coverage and the amateur bands, a total of 11 including a logging scale. It was double-conversion with IFs at 1650 and 50 kHz. The L/C circuits in the second IF provided a range of selectivity from 0.5 to 5 kHz.
