Hallicrafters’ HT-33A linear amplifier matched the company’s HT-32 transmitters in size and appearance. It used a PL-172A for 1 kilowatt input on 80–10 meters.
The HT-33B linear amplifier used a PL-172A tube in Class AB1 for a full kilowatt input on 80–10 meters. It had an internal power supply and pi-net output. The design matched that of Hallicrafters’ HT-32B transmitter.
