A useful tool for transmitter designers. These instruments can be poked into small shielded compartments, coil cans, corners of chassis, etc, to check harmonics, parasitics, oscillator-double, tank tuning, and a variety of other such applications.
Types 90605 through 90609 (series 90600) are extremely small and designed primarily for engineering laboratory use where they can be handled with reasonable care. The most useful combination being the group from 90605 to 90608, covering 3.0 to 140.0 MHz. This set is normally provided with a convenient storage and carrying box.
Series 90601 units are slightly larger and very much more rugged. They are further protected by a contour-fitting transparent plastic case to protect agains damage. This series is designed primarily for field use, and are not quite as convenient for lab use as the 90600 series.
All have dials directly calibrated in frequency.
90604 – 160 to 210 MHz
90605 – 3.0 to 10 MHz
90606 – 9.0 to 23 MHz
90607 – 23 to 60 MHz
90608 – 50 to 140 MHz
90609 – 130 to 170 MHZ
90610 – 105 to 150 MHz
90619 – 350 to 1000 kHz (neon indicator)
90620 – 150 to 350 kHz (neon indicator)
90625 – 2 to 6 MHz (neon indicator)
90626 – 5.5 to 15 MHz (neon indicator)
90600 – Complete set of 90605 to 90608
90601 – Complete set of field-type in metal case, 1.5 to 40 MHz
