The Galaxy 2000+ linear amplifier used ten 6HF5 tubes and covered 80–10 meters. Power input was 2000 watts SSB, 1000 watts CW. Its cabinet size was the same as that of the Galaxy III and V transceivers. The price of the Galaxy 2000+ included its separate power supply.
The 2000B amp shared its basic configuration with the Galaxy 2000+, but changed the amplifier tubes to ten 6LB6s. The external AC supply was included in the price.
