QST, Jan 1956, p. 89. 3087 (3078B) - 2 meters - 6 VDC 3077 (3077B) - 2 meters - 12 VDC 3088 (3088B) - 6 meters - 6 VDC 3079 (3079B) - 6 meters - 12 VDC These specialty Communicators were announced in December 1955. They included a number of unspecified changes to make them compliant with Federal Civil Defense Administration requirements, to make them available for purchase with federal funding. Beyond the bright yellow cabinets, they are In most respects identical to the 2- and 6-meter versions of the Communicator II series. Probably never available in a single crystal (non "B") version.
