Note

QST, Aug 1952, p. 91. Allied Radio catalog 1953 (copyright 1952), p. 38. Allied Radio catalog 1954 (copyright 1953), inside back cover. Allied Radio catalog 1955 (copyright 1954), p. 187. Hallicrafters paid strict attention to the TVI problem in designing and constructing the HT-20. Even the meter and plate tuning dial on the front panel were covered with an RF-proof screen. The transmitter had 100 watts output on AM and 115 watts on CW. Its 4D32 final amplifier was modulated by push-pull 807s on AM. The HT-20 covered 160-10 meters.
