The SX-115 covered 80-10 meters in nine 500 kHz bands. The 18-tube receiver was triple-conversion with a crystal-con-trolled front end and a tunable first IF. The 50.75 kHz third IF's UC circuits provided five degrees of selectivity from 0.5 to 5 kHz. Frequency was calibrated in 1 kHz increments; $595.00, 1961. (14)
Covers the HF ham bands in nine segments including four for ten meters, and one uncalibrated band for WWV.
Built in crystal calibrator permits dial accuracy as good as ± 1 kHz. Gear drive tuning is virtually backlash free. Features include: S-meter, AVC ON/OFF, RF gain, ANL, mute line, antenna trimmer, notch, and 50 kHz IF Out Jack. Requires an external speaker.
