(this is a Harvey Wells ad) Allied Radio catalog 1960 (copyright 1959), p. 394. Matching unit with R-9 The T-90 transmitter covered 80–10 meters, the same frequency range as the R-9 receiver. The 75 watt phone, 90 watt CW rig was VFO controlled and had provision for crystal operation. Its price was $179.50 minus power supply. The APS-90 fixed-station power supply cost $79.50. The Z-Match antenna coupler covered 80-10 meters without band switching, matching 10 to 2000 ohm loads, balanced or unbalanced. It contained a forward/reflected power meter and cost $69.00. The individual components were housed in similar-size cabinets. After being discontinued in 1958, Harvey Wells began production again in 1960, albeit briefly, since no subsequent advertising has been found. See QST, Apr 1960, p. 129.
