The first commercially available keyer with no moving parts. The keyer responds to touch, not to mechanical connections or switches. There are no adjustments to be made, and no mechanical parts to wear out.
The unit features self-completing dots and dashes, with a speed
range of 7-1/2 to 50 words per minute. The keyer operation is semi-iambic, with dot priority.
Can be powered b y a single 9-volt internal battery. An extra-life battery can provide 24 hours of reliable keying under average conditions. Can also be run from At home, the unit can operate from any 5–15 VDC power source.
