Note

The Kenwood TM-2530, 2550, and 2570 transceivers are identical in function except for RF power output. They are also visually identical to the TM-3530 220 MHz model. They feature an ergonomic panel layout with a large, easy-to-read LCD display and backlit keys for simplified operation. The units utilizes a dual microprocessor system to provide a versatile range of functions, including a memory capacity for 23 channels. One notable feature is the automatic autopatch transmission, which allows users to store up to 15 telephone numbers in memory for automatic dialing. Additionally, the transceivers are compatible with the optional DCL (Digital Channel Link) system for automatic open channel searches and digital squelch, as well as the VS-1 voice synthesizer for audible frequency announcements.
