Note
The Kenwood TM-3530A is a 220 MHz FM transceiver. It features an ergonomic panel layout with a large, easy-to-read LCD display and backlit keys for simplified operation. The unit utilizes a dual microprocessor system to provide a versatile range of functions, including a memory capacity for 23 channels.
One of its notable features is the automatic autopatch transmission, which allows users to store up to 15 telephone numbers in memory for automatic dialing. Additionally, the transceiver is compatible with the optional DCL (Digital Channel Link) system for automatic open channel searches and digital squelch, as well as the VS-1 voice synthesizer for audible frequency announcements.
Options include:
TU-7: Internal Tone Unit (required for repeaters)
VS-1: Voice Synthesizer unit
CD-10: Call Sign Display unit
MU-1: Modem Unit (for DCL operations)
