The Phasemaster II was available in both kit form and factory-wired. True to its name, it was a phasing-type side-band transmitter. Other modes were CW, AM, and PM. It had band-switching coverage of 160–10 meters, as well as built-in VOX and anti-trip circuits. SSB power input to the 6146 final was 100 watts PEP, 50 watts on AM and CW.
