John Meek Industries introduced the T-60 transmitter in 1946. Audar, Inc. of Argos, Indiana produced improved versions of the same rig under the Audar and Telvar names. The 60 watt phone and CW transmitter used plug-in coils to cover 80-10 meters. A pair of 6L6Gs was used in the final. A second 6L6G pair in push-pull served as modulators.
