Note
QST, May 1980, p. 182.
All three versions are essentially the same, providing the same functionality. Differences are all internal tweaks, and component selection choices based largely on economics and supply availability.
Covers roughly 1.6–30 MHz with proper impedance matching to maximize signal transfer.
Has a 20 dB preamp with gain control, plus a 20 dB attenuator to handle strong signals.
Provides switching between 2 antennas and 2 receivers, plus bypass/select modes.
Requires 9–18 VDC and is designed for receive only (not for transmitter use).
