The Micamold Radio Corporation of Brooklyn, New York manufactured resistors and capacitors. In 1948, they introduced an amateur transmitter kit, the XTR-1. It was crystal-controlled and had band-switching coverage of 80, 40, and 20 meters and a pi-net output. Power input to the 6L6 final was 45 watts.
