(maybe NOS) The 2-BR was available in 10/40, 40/75 and 10/75 combinations. It used five tubes. The main tuning capacitor gang-tuned the RF amp, oscillator, and mixer stages. Its IF amp had four tuned circuits and an output on 1525 kHz. An automatic noise limiter was built in. Morrow’s 2BR-2 was an updated version of the older 2BR mobile converter. It was available in the same choice of 10/40, 40/75, and 10/75 meter configurations. The price of the newer version increased by $5.00. The 5BR mobile converter had the same basic design and feature set as the 2BR but covered 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10 meters. Morrow gave the 5BR-2 mobile converter a facelift to more closely match the style of the MBR-5/MB560 pair, adding “-2” to the model name. It remained the same electrically.
