Morrow’s mobile pair were matched in size and appearance. Each covered the 80–10 meter bands. The MB-6 receiver was a 13-tube, double-conversion set with built-in noise limiter and squelch circuits. Power input to the MB-565 transmitter’s 6146 final was 60 watts. High-level plate modulation was used on AM phone. All stages except the final were gang-tuned and tracked with the exciter. An antenna changeover relay was incorporated into the transmitter.
