Elmac was a division of the Multi-Products company. The name was changed to Multi-Eimac after legal persuasion by the Eitei-McCullough tube people (who felt Elmac was too similar to their own Eimac brand name). The A-54 mobile transmitter ran 50 watts input, phone or CW, on 75, 20, and, 10/11 meters. Its band switch had a position for an optional fourth band.
A-54H for use with high impedance mics.
