The Converter Cabinet for National’s NC-300 receiver housed the 3 accessory VHF converters. Its band switch changed the converters’ power and IF output connections.
The National VHF converters’ output range was 30–35 MHz, a perfect match for the range tuned by the NC-300’s VHF-band scales. The NC-300-C6 was for 6 meters, the NC-300-C2 (shown) for 2 meters, and the NC-300-C1 for 1-1/4 meters.
