"Limited quantities." The NC-66 could operate from 115 volt AC or DC sources or internal batteries. It covered 150–400 kHz and .5–23 MHz in five bands. The NC-66 had a ferrite-loop antenna for low frequencies and a pull-up whip for the shortwave bands. An optional RDF-66 direction-finding loop antenna was available for marine navigation use.
