The NTX-30 provided 30 watts of crystal-controlled output on the 80 through 10 meter bands. A 6L6 oscillator operating on 80 meters drove a series of doubler 6L6s on the higher bands. A pair of 6L6Gs in parallel served as the final amplifier. It was a stand-alone CW transmitter that could be put into AM phone service with the addition of an external speech amplifier/modulator. Available in table top or rack mounting versions.
